At the joint press conference held this Tuesday regarding the anti-drug operation that was finalized by SPAK and the Finnish authorities, some of the details of the results of this action were shared.
According to investigations, the drugs were transported by truck and involved in this activity were Albanian, Romanian, Asian and African citizens.
It turns out that a characteristic of these groups was their cooperation with each other.
Based on data from the operation, 10 of the arrested people are of Albanian origin.
"The drug was transported by truck, with Polish license plates and a Polish driver. The origin of the amphetamine was the Netherlands. The cannabis was trafficked from Spain to Finland. Out of 55 citizens convicted in Finland, 10 of them are of Albanian origin. There are also Polish and Finnish citizens who have been convicted. There are also many Romanian citizens, Asian and African citizens. A characteristic of these groups has been their cooperation with each other. The groups organize the trafficking to send it to Spain and the Netherlands, where they also have a distribution network. One of the Albanian citizens operated only in Finland. Another group was tasked with trafficking marijuana from Spain. Some have been prosecuted in Finland and have been identified in Albania.
