Director of the ISH, Heseni, meets with CIA director

The Director of the State Intelligence Service, Vlora Hyseni, has paid a visit to Washington DC, where she met with leaders and senior officials of the US Office of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Department of State and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), within the framework of bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership.

Hyseni, in the meeting held with the Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency, John Ratcliffe, discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and exchanged assessments of the regional and international security situation. The increase in intelligence capacities was also discussed.

" In the meeting with Mr. John Ratcliffe, Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency, a number of issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, where the excellent partnership with SHISH was emphasized in the interest of identifying and preventing common threats. Assessments were exchanged on the regional and international security situation, and discussions were held on deepening cooperation, as well as increasing intelligence capacities. The visit to the US demonstrates the commitment of the respective agencies to support the strategic decision-making authorities of the two countries with qualitative and warning intelligence, to guarantee regional and international security ," the SHISH announcement states.

SHISH Director Hyseni also met with the US Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, where issues of cooperation in the field of intelligence and security were discussed.
