The blow against crime/ Altin Dumani: The first time that groups have focused on

SPAK head Altin Dumani has shared further details regarding the operation carried out in cooperation with Finnish authorities.

Dumani announced that 4 criminal groups have been targeted, the activity has been spread over years.

The organizers preferred to stay in Albania, from where they organized the entire activity.

What is special about this investigation, Dumani emphasized, is the fact that it is the first time that it has been established that criminal groups are focusing on synthetic drugs.

"What is noticeable about these groups is that there are 4 criminal groups, the activity extends over years. The organizers preferred to stay in Albania and from here they organized all the activity. As Mr. Shehu mentioned, the GJKKO has issued 11 orders. 10 are located in Albania, 1 is located abroad.  

We were impressed that this is the first time during the investigation that Albanian criminal groups have focused on synthetic drugs. We are talking about large quantities of synthetic drugs. There was also ecstasy.

"The typology is like this. The criminal group had their network and bases in Finland," said Dumani./ CNA
