CNA had warned/ The mosque of Namazgja will be inaugurated on Thursday, Erdogan

On Thursday, October 10, the mosque of Namazgja will be inaugurated.

The Muslim Community of Albania announced the news through a post on social networks.

It is learned that the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Edi Rama will be present at the ceremony.

We recall that CNA had earlier warned Erdogan's arrival in Tirana precisely for the inauguration of the Namazgja mosque.

Declaration of the Muslim Community of Albania

Dear brothers and sisters, the Muslim Community of Albania is pleased to inform you about the great event that will be held on Thursday in Tirana, such as the inauguration of the Namazgja Mosque.

This mosque is a long-standing dream of the Albanian people, which became possible thanks to the generosity of the brotherly Turkish people and the insistence of the President of the Republic of Turkey, SH.TZ, Recep Tayyip Erdo?an. Likewise, the great Mosque of Namazgja would not have become a reality today without the great administrative and financial support of the Albanian Government, which thanks to the will of Prime Minister Edi Rama paved the way for the consolidation of our ownership over the land of Namazgja.

President Erdo?an and Prime Minister Rama will be personally present at the inauguration ceremony, in which the Muslim Community of Albania will be represented by the Mufti of Tirana, Mr. Gazment Teqja, who will also be the head of the board of the joint foundation, between KMSH and the other party, which will administer the Namazgja Mosque in the future.

We thank the Turkish people and President Erdo?an, as well as the Prime Minister of Albania, who made this dream of the Albanian Muslim faithful possible. Here we also single out the excellent interaction between the Albanian and Turkish governments, which was decisive in the realization of this great work for the people and the Albanian capital. A fraternal thanks goes to all those who built our Great Mosque with their golden minds and hands.

The mosque will not be simply a place of worship, but a multifunctional complex that will serve other citizens as well as tourists.
