Confindustria demands that, considering the above, the Government and SPAK should take extraordinary measures as soon as possible. The national economy, businesses, industries and local production, if the situation is not resolved quickly, risk major financial losses, increased costs with serious consequences up to bankruptcy. Citizens will turn to neighboring countries such as North Macedonia and Greece for food and fuel supplies.

The economic-financial blow is even more severe if it is assessed that Albania's very position as a reliable transit country for the movement of goods and people between East and West is at risk in the long term.
