Minister Taulant Balla has spoken about former Prime Minister Sali Berisha's accusations regarding Bajraj's involvement in the elections, as well as the accusations that Bajri was let go by the state police.

In Opinion, Balla pointed out that the truth is different. According to Balla, Bajri was abroad and was caught with the cooperation of Interpol and the State Police and was brought to Albania.

He further answered the harassing question of the journalist Fatjona Medjini about why he mentions Sali Berisha by his initials while accusing him in SPAK, Balla said that he had closed his accounts with the former prime minister Berisha as a politician.

"I, as Taulant Balla, as a politician, have settled my accounts with Sali Berisha.

As the minister of the interior, I do not enter into political discussions", said Balla.  

"There is one element that I want to clarify. This person that you refer to and put in the statements for the accusations he makes in the case in question said that they notified this person and let him go.

The truth was quite different. This person had been living outside of Albania for a long time and it is this state police that found this person in cooperation with Interpol and brought him here", explained Balla in relation to Bajri's case./ CNA
