The candidate who won the elections in Himar Municipality, Fredi Beleri, has thanked the Greek minister, Stavro Papastavrou, for his visit to the Durrës Prison where he is being detained.

Beleri says that the continuous support and practical presence of the Greek state in his detention, which he considers unprecedented and unjust, as well as the denial of the right to take the oath as Mayor, give him strength and optimism for a just solution of the case.

He says he is full of hope.
