The Italian embassy has reacted regarding the tense situation in the parliament.
Through a reaction on social networks, the Italian Embassy requests the majority and the opposition to work together to ensure that the Parliament can exercise its duty in the interest of all citizens.
"The Embassy of Italy in Tirana expresses concern about the latest developments in the Albanian Parliament. A functioning Parliament and a fruitful dialogue between elected MPs are essential for the proper functioning of democracy.
