ARRSH announces works on the Tirana-Durrës highway / Segment blocked for 25

The Albanian Road Authority, through a notice published today, has announced that on October 19, 2022, in the early hours of the morning, the rehabilitation of the asphalt layers of the Tirana-Durrës road axis will begin, a work process that according to the drawn up schedule it will take 25 days for both directions of movement.

"Within the implementation of the maintenance contract, tomorrow, October 19, 2022, in the early hours of the morning, the rehabilitation of the asphalt layers of the Tirana-Durra road axis will begin, a work process that according to the schedule will last 25 days for both senses of movement.

The work process will start from the Dajlan Bridge in the direction of Tirana (up to the Kashar overpass).

Work will be done with one lane, temporarily blocked, for a length of 500m, according to approved traffic management schemes in cooperation with the Traffic Police.

One lane of movement will be free for drivers and the other will be temporarily blocked for a length of 500m.

With the completion of the work on this length, the blockage will be moved to another 500m for the continuation of the work.

In order to avoid accidents, we instruct the drivers to follow the road signs placed in the facility.

We ask for the understanding of road users and vehicle drivers for this intervention that will be carried out", announces ARRSH. /CNA.al
