The Appeal Court of Kosovo has dismissed the defamation lawsuit filed by businesswoman Vilma Nushi against DP MP Albana Vokshi.

After the decision was announced, DP MP Albana Vokshi writes that she is in a constant battle in parliament and in the courts with healthcare oligarchs and the 100 million euro concessions, designed not for patients, but to reward Edi Rama's political clients.

"A defamation lawsuit filed by Vilma Nushi, Edi Rama's financier and beneficiary of the Check Up concession, was dismissed by the court and the decision was upheld today on appeal.

For a decade, I have been in a non-stop battle in parliament and in the courts with healthcare oligarchs and 100 million euro concessions, designed not for patients, but to reward Edi Rama's political clients.

They tried to silence me with lawsuits. They failed. If they think they can intimidate me with slander and anonymous letters, they are wrong!

In 10 years, I have learned to face visible and invisible power on opposite sides of the barricade. They with power and concessions worth hundreds of millions. I with the truth and public interest. And this still remains my greatest strength," writes Vokshi./ CNA
