The head of SPAK, Klodjan Braho, described today the vetting process as historic for the functioning of the justice process.

In his speech during the closing ceremony of the evaluation of judges and magistrates, Braho stated that SPAK has competently exercised this responsibility, through the development of 139 sessions.

According to the head of the Special Prosecution Office, the evaluation standards are also reflected in those that SPAK uses towards prosecutors and investigators, which, as he said, are not formal elements, but necessary to create public trust in justice.

Braho further added that public trust in the justice system is not gained once and for all, but through the daily work of prosecutors and judges.

"Today marks a special moment for the justice system. One of the most difficult and important processes ends. The vetting process was created at a historic moment for investigators and prosecutors. The standards are also reflected in the standards that SPAK uses towards employees, which are not formal elements, but necessary to create public trust in justice. I also express my appreciation to international collaborators. We have built this competence, 139 sessions were held at the Court of Appeal. The necessary maturity was reached and their confirmation cannot be valid in the future. Public trust is not gained once and for all, but with the daily work of prosecutors and judges. The integrity of the justice system is protected by standards in investigations and accountability before the law.
