Accusations against Saimir Kodra/ Tirana Court finds Egla Cenon guilty of

The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, Criminal Chamber, has found Egla Cenon guilty of the criminal offense of "Defamation" against Saimir Kodra.

"The Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, Criminal Chamber, after having closed the judicial examination of the criminal claim with the parties: victim-accuser SK, accused EC, has reviewed and evaluated all the acts and evidence administered within the framework of this criminal trial, has heard the parties in their final claims, on behalf of the Republic,

DECIDED:

1. Dismissal of the charge of committing the criminal offense of "Insult", provided for by Article 119/2 of the Criminal Code, against the accused EC, as the criminal prosecution for this offense cannot continue in reference to Article 328, point 1, letter 'd' and 387 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

2. The guilty plea of ??the accused EC, for the criminal offense of "Defamation" provided for by Article 120/2 of the Criminal Code, to the detriment of the accusing victim Saimir Kodra and, based on Articles 30, paragraph II and 43 of the Criminal Code, her punishment with the additional penalty for publishing the court decision.

3. The publication of the court decision will be made by the defendant EC, at its own expense, within 15 days from the day the decision becomes final," the Court's decision states, among other things./ CNA
