AKMC: 14 fires this Friday, 4 of them active

According to data from the National Civil Emergency Operations Center at AKMC, from 09:00, date 04.07.2025, to 20:30, date 04.07.2025, 14 fires were reported.

Of these, 10 fires have been extinguished and 4 fires are active.

After continuous work by operational forces on the ground, it was possible to completely isolate and extinguish the fires in:

Burrel village, adm. Komsi, Mat municipality.

Hajmel village, Hajmel admiralty, Vau-Dejës municipality.

Perondi village, Perondi admiralty, Kuçovë municipality.

"Gur i Bardh" neighborhood, adm. Ura Vajgurore, Dimal municipality.

Draç village, Ishëm adm., Durrës municipality.

Rrashbull village, Rrashbull adm., Durrës municipality.

Old Village Katund, Adm. Rubik, Mirditë Municipality.

Village of Fushë Prezë, adm. Prezë, municipality of Vorë.

Zgërbonjë village, Vërtop administrative unit, Poliçan municipality.

Vlora Region

Between the village of Grazhdan, administrative unit of Livadhja and the village of Malçan, administrative unit of Dhivër, municipality of Finiq, the fire that broke out on 01.07.2025 continues to be active on the Shedenik Mountain above the village of Malçan, in an area of ??pine forest at a very remote distance and impossible to reach on foot. The fire is being monitored remotely by 1 fire engine with 3 firefighters and employees of the Forest Service in the village of Malçan. There is no risk to residential areas.

Elbasan District

On 04.07.2025, work continued to extinguish the fire at the waste landfill in the municipality of Elbasan. Given the situation created, where due to high-intensity work and extended hours since Tuesday, there has been an improvement in the situation at the landfill.

The following forces and assets are currently engaged in the field:

4 firefighting vehicles (1 vehicle from Elbasan MZSH, 2 vehicles from the Armed Forces, 1 vehicle from Tirana MZSH, one vehicle from Berat MZSH is expected)

5 heavy-duty vehicles of the Elbasan municipality

2 army dump trucks from the Armed Forces.

15 medium-tonnage vehicles of private entities (trailers)

5 fadroma of the Elbasan municipality

1 private entity's fadroma

1 incinerator company's warehouse

1 Armed Forces tractor.

1 incinerator company excavator

1 private excavator

1 high-capacity suction pump from the Armed Forces.

Kukes District

In the mountainous area between the villages of Gjinaj and Domaj, the administrative unit of Gjinaj, the municipality of Has, a fire continues to burn in a pine forest area within its perimeter. On the ground, 10 employees of the Forest Service, 4 forces of the Has Forest Service with 1 vehicle, 4 police forces, 2 municipal forces and 10 volunteer forces are engaged in extinguishing it. The forces have worked and isolated the source of the fire.

Tirana District

In the village of Bulticë, Vaqarr administrative unit, Tirana municipality, a fire continues to be active with low intensity in an area of ??bushes and brambles. 1 Cougar helicopter operated at the scene this morning and afternoon, which made it possible to isolate it. 20 firefighting forces are working in the fire area, as well as 20 forces of the APR of the Tirana municipality, which continue with emergency and individual vehicles for the final extinguishing of the fire.
