Fire situation in the country/AKMC: 9 fires this Friday, 4 of them active

According to data from the National Civil Emergency Operations Center at AKMC, from 09:00, date 04.07.2025, to 14:30, date 04.07.2025, 9 fires were reported.

Of these, 5 fires have been extinguished and 4 fires are active.

After continuous work by operational forces on the ground, it was possible to completely isolate and extinguish the fires in:

Burrel village, adm. Komsi, Mat municipality.

Hajmel village, Hajmel admiralty, Vau-Dejës municipality.

Perondi village, Perondi admiralty, Kuçovë municipality.

"Gur i Bardh" neighborhood, adm. Ura Vajgurore, Dimal municipality.

Draç village, Ishëm adm., Durrës municipality.

Vlora Region

Between the village of Grazhdan, administrative unit of Livadhja and the village of Malçan, administrative unit of Dhivër, municipality of Finiq, the fire that broke out on 01.07.2025 continues to be active on the Shedenik Mountain above the village of Malçan, in an area of ??pine forest at a very remote distance and impossible to reach on foot. The fire is being monitored remotely by 1 fire engine with 3 firemen and employees of the Forest Service in the village of Malçan.

Elbasan District

Work has continued to extinguish the fire at the waste dump in the municipality of Elbasan. According to the director of the operation, the situation looks a little better than yesterday. The main focus of the fire is in the western part, where firefighting vehicles are also concentrated.

Kukes District

In the mountainous area between the villages of Gjinaj and Domaj, Gjinaj administrative unit, Has municipality, a fire that broke out in a pine forest area continues to be active. On the ground, 10 employees of the Forest Service, 5 forces of the Has Forest Service with 1 vehicle, 4 police forces, 7 municipal forces and 10 volunteers are engaged in extinguishing it.
