OFFICIAL/ Roma sack Ranieri after clashes with coach Gasperini

Roma have made their separation with Claudio Ranieri official, ending a collaboration that lasted less than a year.

The club thanked Ranieri for his contribution during a difficult period, but decided to look ahead.

The decision came after recent internal tensions, particularly with coach Gian Piero Gasperini. Ranieri's public statements have contributed to the worsening of the situation at Trigoria.

The club's management has expressed full confidence in the new project under Gasperini's leadership. This move strengthens his role in the technical direction and strategy of the team.

For Ranieri, another chapter with Roma is closed, after several spells as a player and coach. It remains to be seen whether this decision will bring further changes to the management structure.
