Bayer Leverkusen winger Florian Wirtz is Bayern Munich's top target for a potential summer transfer. According to Team Talk and Bild, the Bavarian club are in an advanced stage of talks and are expected to submit their first official offer next week.

Bayern are willing to offer an annual salary of 20 to 25 million euros for Wirtz, making him one of the highest-paid players at the club. The player and his family are said to prefer a move to the German champions, making the deal possible on a personal level.

However, there are several internal issues that could affect the realization of this transfer. One of them is related to the tactical compatibility of Wirtz with Jamal Musiala, who recently renewed with Bayern and has a central role in the team's scheme. Wirtz's move could require a review of the placement of two players with similar profiles on the field. In addition, the salary structure at the club is also a factor being examined. For example, negotiations with Leroy Sané for the renewal have been delayed, partly due to differences in financial requirements and the club's offer.

Another factor in favor of the transfer is Wirtz's contractual relationship with Adidas, Bayern Munich's main sponsor. Since Bayern is classified in the highest category by Adidas (category A), while Leverkusen is in a lower classification (category C), a transfer to Munich would bring Wirtz additional financial benefits beyond his basic salary.
