VIDEO/ Bayern returned to the title, watch the celebration in Munich

After two years, Bayern Munich returned to Marienplatz to celebrate their Bundesliga title this Sunday.

The champion players, led by Vincent Kompany, appeared with the traditional trophy from the balcony of Munich City Hall.

The ceremony was also joined by Bayern's women's team, which won its third consecutive title and completed a historic double.

Club legend Thomas Müller is taking part for the last time as a Bayern player before his departure in the summer. The celebrations began at 12:30 with music and the participation of mascots Berni and Mia. Afterwards, the team will meet with Mayor Dieter Reiter and take to the balcony.

The event is broadcast live on Bayern's official YouTube channel.

Bayern Munich finished the championship in first place in the standings with 82 points, 13 more than second-place Leverkusen.

In 34 weeks of the championship, Kompany's team recorded 25 wins, 7 draws and only 2 losses.
