"Drama" in the Netherlands, Ajax hands the title to PSV. The season ends

PSV Eindhoven have been declared champions of the Eredivisie for the 2024–2025 season. Peter Bosz's team benefited from a late crisis at Ajax, who lost first place after a 2-2 draw with Groningen in the penultimate week.

It was Ajax's fourth consecutive winless game, which ended the season in second place. PSV had won five games in a row and maintained their lead after a win against Sparta Rotterdam in the final week. Although Ajax beat Twente 2-0, it was too late to reclaim first place.

PSV and Ajax secure participation in the Champions League next season.

Feyenoord will compete in the play-off stage, while Utrecht and Eagles advance to the Europa League.

AZ Alkmaar, Twente, Nijmegen and Heerenveen will play in the Conference League qualifiers.
