VIDEO/ The Lusail stadium, the modern facility for the World Cup final, is inaugurated today

Today, the new stadium is inaugurated where the final of the "Qatar 2022" World Cup will be played on December 18. A stadium where everyone wants to be on that day and in which they hope to lift the most important football trophy. The 80,000-seat facility will host 10 World Cup matches, including the aforementioned final and Mexico-Argentina, which remains the match with the highest demand for tickets.

At 20:00 (today) two of the most successful teams in Asia and Africa will play. Al-Hilal (Saudi champion) vs Zamalek (Egyptian champion). This match will serve as the main test for the stadium before the first match of the World Cup. Earlier, a Qatar League match was held at this facility, on August 11, between Al Rayyan and Al Arabi, two of the most popular clubs in this country.

This modern stadium was built about 20 minutes away from the center of Doha. Today it will not be used at full capacity, as part of the seats is occupied by a stage previously set up for a musical performance.
