A horrifying scene was captured by a video published by "TN", where a man, a Brazilian citizen, is seen pointing a gun at the vice president of Argentina, as he walked smiling at her in the crowd.

A man tried to kill Cristina Fernández de Kirchner with a gun, while the aggressor was detained and arrested by the police. Argentina's security ministry confirmed the gun was real, with bullets inside.

The Argentine Football Federation also strongly condemned the attack, issuing an official statement: “The Argentine Football Federation strongly condemns what happened to the Vice President of the Nation, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. Violence of any kind is never the answer. In addition, the Football Association has decided to suspend all matches scheduled for this Saturday."
