September brings back red and black football, 14 official and friendly matches

The month of September is full of challenges for red and black football, with 14 matches on the schedule for 5 age groups and the National Team A. From testing friendlies to crucial qualifying challenges, the red and blacks will take to the field in Albania and abroad.

The National Team A will play two important matches. First, the friendly against Gibraltar on September 4 at the “Europa Point” stadium, at 18:00. Then, on September 9, the team led by coach Silvinjo returns to Tirana for the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Latvia, which will be played at the “Air Albania” stadium, at 20:45.

Albania U-21 coach Alban Bushi will have two friendly matches against strong European rivals. On September 5, the Rossoneri will face Germany at the “Elbasan Arena”, at 18:00, while on September 8 they will play away against Switzerland, at the “Brügglifeld Stadium” in Aarau, at 18:30.

Albania U-19 will participate in a triangular friendly tournament organized by the Albanian Football Federation. The Red and Blacks will challenge Moldova on September 4 at the "House of Football", while on September 8 they face Kosovo, also at the "House of Football".

Albania U-17 will compete in the international tournament "Syrenka Cup" in Poland, where they will play on September 4 against Poland, on September 6 against Norway and on September 9 against Romania.

Albania U-15 has two friendlies scheduled against Malta at the "House of Football", on September 16 (4:00 PM) and September 18 (11:00 AM).

Albania will also host the UEFA Development Tournament for U-15 girls, which will take place at the "House of Football" from September 24 to 29, with the participation of Kosovo, Moldova and Estonia.
