Former Albanian referee, Duka, passes away: He was one of the most prominent figures

Former FIFA referee Lulzim Konçi has passed away at the age of 85.

For years, Konçi has carried the FIFA emblem and represented Albania in the international arena.

The president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, has also reacted to Konçi's passing. The head of the Federation expresses his great pain and offers condolences to the family of the late Lulzim Konçi.

It was with great pain that I received the news of the passing of Lulzim Konçi, one of the most prominent figures in Albanian refereeing.

His contribution as a FIFA referee and then as an observer remains an important part of our football history.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the Konçi family, relatives and the Albanian refereeing community. His memory will remain unforgettable.
