Kosovo "steals" Croatia's player, Avdullahu is also invited. List published

Kosovo coach Franco Foda has published the list of players for the two September matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The Dardanelles will face Switzerland on September 5th and Sweden on September 8th in Pristina.

For these matches, Foda has gathered 26 footballers, including key names such as Vedat Muriqi, Edon Zhegrova, Amir Rrahmani, Valon Berisha and Mërgim Vojvoda.

Leon Avdullahu and Veldin Hodza have been invited for the first time, with the latter having previously represented Croatia at the youth level. An unexpected absence is that of Milot Rashica.

The list also includes new names such as Dion Gallapeni, Florian Haxha and Baton Zabërgja. The reserve list includes Faton Maloku, Donat Rrudhani and several other players who remain on standby. Foda aims for positive results to keep hopes for the World Cup alive.
