World Cup 2022/ Qatar hired ex-CIA agent to ensure hosting of the tournament

A "bombshell" that comes to tarnish even more the image of Qatar, where according to the "Associated Press", it reveals that the Asian country hired a former CIA agent to help ensure the organization of the World Cup.

According to the investigation compiled by two American journalists, Qatar paid former agent Kevin Choker and his company "Global Risks Advisors" to spy on soccer officials from other countries.

The American allegedly created fake Facebook profiles posing as a beautiful woman to "fish" for information through their private messages, while sending his removed associates as photographers to FIFA meetings.

As the "Associated Press" adds, his company appears to be behind the infamous scandal with FIFA's German agent and member of its Executive Committee, who took the bait to stop harsh criticism of the Four.

The American, however, is now in the hands of the FBI as, among other things, he is accused of exerting undue influence on American foreign policy.
