Hakan Çalhanoglu's future up in the air

Hakan Çalhanoglu's future remains open between staying at Inter and a possible return to Galatasaray.

Ten days ago, Turkish media reported that the transfer was "99% complete", but the situation has changed.

After the tensions of last summer, the player decided to stay in Milan and continues to be an important element of the team.

In 30 games, he has registered 12 goals and 7 assists, high figures for a midfielder. His contribution has been decisive in several challenges, including the 2-1 win over Roma and the two goals in the Coppa Italia against Como.

Coach Cristian Chivu considers him an important part of the project. His contract expires in 2027, while a renewal remains uncertain.

A meeting is expected at the end of the season to discuss the future and financial conditions, currently at 6.5 million euros per season.
