Hoffenheim has formalized the contract extension with defender Albian Hajdari, a move that confirms his role in the German club's project.

Although the club has not made public the duration of the new agreement, according to reports from German media, the new contract is expected to be valid until the summer of 2031.

Hajdari joined Hoffenheim in August 2025, after transferring from Lugano, and within a short time he has integrated into the team.

This season, he has made 26 Bundesliga appearances, scoring 1 goal, and played 1 German Cup match. These figures indicate a consistent presence in the lineup and regular involvement in team activities.

The club's sports director emphasized that the player has adapted to the team's demands from the beginning and has become an important element in the defensive department.

According to him, Hajdari's rapid development and contribution to the season's results are factors that have influenced the decision to renew. He also underlined that at the age of 22, the defender still has room for improvement, citing his left wing, defensive flexibility and approach to the game as distinguishing elements.

For his part, Hajdari stated that he feels appreciated at the club and that the environment at Hoffenheim has influenced his development.

At international level, the defender represents Kosovo and has made 5 appearances since October 2025. Before moving to the Bundesliga, he has consolidated experience with Lugano, where he played 110 matches in three seasons in the Swiss championship, the Swiss Cup and European competitions.

The contract extension clearly shows the club's confidence in the player's potential and the aim to build a team with new and sustainable elements over time.

At this stage, Hajdari is considered an important part of the team's structure and one of the players on whom Hoffenheim is expected to rely going forward.
