General Electoral Assembly of SHRF Elbasan, Ilirjan File re-elected chairman

The proceedings of the Elbasan Regional Football Association's General Electoral Assembly were held today, January 6, and were attended by 29 members of the association, represented by 31 delegates, who discussed and approved the main issues on the agenda, the most important of which was the election of the president of the Elbasan Regional Football Association for the next four years.

The Verification Commission, which is the body responsible for organizing the election process, stated that only one candidacy for Chairman was submitted to the commission, specifically the request for re-nomination by Ilirjan File, proposed by 21 members of the association.

After the vote, the General Electoral Assembly of the Elbasan Regional Football Association, with complete unanimity, decided to elect Ilirjan File as Chairman of the Elbasan Regional Football Association with a 4-year mandate.

During the proceedings, the financial statements and the budget for 2026 were approved, and the delegates to the General Assembly of the Albanian Football Federation were elected, namely Ilirjan File, Julian Cota and Anxhelo Suta.

Also on the agenda were proposals for candidates for the President of the Albanian Football Association and for members of the Executive Committee. The members of the association have proposed Armand Duka as a candidate for the position of President of the Albanian Football Association, who was voted on by all members of the association during the assembly proceedings.

Also, members of the association have the right to propose a candidate for member of the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Federation.

The General Assembly of the Elbasan Regional Football Association decided to approve the proposal of Abdyl Kuriu as a candidate for member of the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Federation.
