Agreement reached, Ter Stegen's new team revealed

Barcelona are continuing to be very active in the winter transfer window. Marc-Andre ter Stegen will leave the Catalan club in the coming days.

Coach Hansi Flick entrusted the goalkeeping to Joan Garcia in the Copa del Rey, confirming the change in hierarchy. The new goalkeeper proved decisive with a key save, justifying the choice of the technical staff. This situation has put Ter Stegen on the list of players for sale.

The German goalkeeper has given the green light to leave, with the aim of getting minutes and being ready for the World Cup.

According to Spanish media, an agreement has been reached for his transfer to Girona. Barcelona will cover most of the player's salary until the end of the season.
