Agreement between the parties, the striker closes with Juventus. The new team is revealed

Timothy Weah will transfer to Olympique Marseille from Juventus. The parties have agreed a loan with a payment of 1 million euros and an obligation to buy for 14 million euros, plus 3 million in bonuses.

The American player, who has a contract with Juventus until 2028, was looking for more playing time, which he did not find with the arrival of coach Igor Tudor. At Marseille, he returns to Ligue 1, a championship he knows well from his previous experience with Lille.

Weah is a versatile player, who can operate as an attacking winger or as a winger in a five-back formation. Roberto De Zerbi is expected to use him in several roles in Marseille's formation.

With 44 caps for the US national team and a season with 6 goals and 5 assists at Juventus, he represents an experienced alternative for the French team. Marseille aims to exploit the depth of the group in the face of the pressure of the Champions League.
