Rain and snow/ What is the weather forecast for today?

Today our country will be affected by unstable weather conditions. The weather is forecasted with medium to dense cloudiness and alternating clear spells from noon to afternoon.

There will be moderate rainfall in the form of short-term thunderstorms accompanied by lightning in the early morning hours, mainly along the Western Lowlands.

After the morning hours, rainfall is expected to be low-intensity along the Western Lowlands, while along the mountainous reliefs, occasionally in the form of short-term storms. After noon, rainfall will lose territory, becoming localized in the mountainous reliefs to the east.

According to the Meteorological Service, there will be light snowfall in the Alps. Fog/mist will be present along the valley areas in the morning and evening hours as well as at the time of rainfall.

The wind will blow mainly west with an average speed of 5m/s, along the coastline and valleys with speeds up to 10m/s. The waves in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas will be of force 1-2. /CNA
