Dr. Paul Burton, doctor of the pharmaceutical company Moderna, said that within the next 10 years, efficient treatments for all types of diseases will be available."

Moderna, which also creates vaccines against coronavistus, has started work on creating vaccines to fight certain types of tumors.

"We will have that vaccine and it will be very effective and save hundreds of thousands, if not millions of lives. I think we will be able to offer personalized cancer vaccines against different types of tumors to people around the world," the doctor said.

The doctor also emphasized that many respiratory infections can be cured by a single injection.

As for mRNA therapies, they will be available for rare diseases for which there are currently no drugs.

 "I think we're going to have mRNA-based therapies for rare diseases that were previously untreatable, and I think 10 years from now, we're going to get closer to a world where you can actually identify the genetic cause of a disease and, with relative simplicity, you modify and repair it using mRNA-based technology" - says Burton./CNA.al
