Doctor Bektash Mandri has spoken about the viruses circulating in our country in this cold month of December.

In an interview with journalist Gerta Vasku, the doctor warned that the RSV virus may have arrived in Albania.

He emphasized that if RSV circulates in Europe, it is undoubtedly in Albania.

"November and the beginning of December have had an increased influx of children with viral infections. There are currently several types of viruses circulating in Albania, plus COVID-i. There is also talk about RSV, we have not isolated it and we do not have any official notification from ISHP, but I guarantee you that if RSV is circulating in Europe, it is undoubtedly in Albania. RSV is a virus that affects the respiratory tract, it can go from a mild infection to pneumonia, it depends on how much the body can handle it," said the doctor./ BA - CNA.al
