The Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu on World Human Rights Day, at the conclusion of the campaign of 16 days of activism against violence against women, met women and girls who said no to violence at the National Center for the Treatment of Victims of Domestic Violence.

Speaking about the empowerment of women and girls, Minister Manastirliu said:

“Ne do të jemi gjithmonë krah për punësimin, për integrimin, për kujdesin për arsim profesional. Në këtë qendër, ashtu sikurse në të gjithë protokollet tona, që ne kemi në të gjitha shërbimet e specializuara në të gjithë vendin, ndiqet një plan individual për çdo rast edhe për çdo grua, por gjithashtu edhe për fëmijët”-tha Manastirliu.

Në 16 ditë aktivizëm kundër dhunës ndaj gruas ministrja foli për zgjerimin e strukturave:

“Kemi arritur që deri më sot të kemi 35 shërbime të specializuara në rang vendi për të trajtuar rastet dhe viktimat e dhunës në familje. Është e rëndësishme që sa më shumë të rriten rastet e denoncimeve, aq më shumë ndërgjegjësohet shoqëria, aq më shumë ndërgjegjësohen edhe vetë gratë, që ka mekanizma, që ka qendra të emergjencës, ka shërbime që i mbështesin ato duke filluar pikë së pari nga strukturat e Policisë së Shtetit që është dera e parë për urdhërat e menjëhershëm të mbrojtjes. E më pas tek shërbimet e specializuara sikurse është kjo qendër”- u shpreh Manastirliu

Duke folur për mbështetjen e grave, Manastirliu tha:

" We are initiating a new policy, a program starting next year for unemployed women who have three minor children, to enable them in the five years of the child, the five years of caring for the third child, to the fourth and so on to have the social and health insurance subsidized" - said Manastirlu.

Through the Social Fund, the financing of services in every municipality of the country has been supported, through projects which focus on the establishment of rehabilitative and reintegration services for women and girls victims of domestic violence. Projects from which around 500 women and their children have benefited, the funding of which continues for 2022 and beyond./ CNA.al
