The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, after the meeting of the Government, has announced that the by-law has been approved, which defines the criteria that hospitals will have to fulfill for the application of the new model of hospital autonomy.

"Kemi miratuar sot në Këshillin e Ministrave një akt të rëndësishëm nënligjor, në zbatim të ligjit “Për Kujdesin Spitalor në Republikën e Shqipërisë”, pikërisht vendimin për autonominë spitalore. Një model i cili do t’i hapë rrugën përmirësimit të shërbimit spitalor në vend, përmirësimit të eficiencës së burimeve njerëzore, burimeve financiare, gjithashtu edhe mirëadministrimit të të gjithë strukturës organizative, por edhe aspekteve të shërbimit mjekësor, në spitalet të cilat do ta përfitojnë autonominë",- tha Manastirliu.

Manastirliu tha se ky model do të ndërtojë incentiva financiare për stafet mjekësore.

"Through the mechanisms that this model guarantees, it will create in terms of the support of doctors and health personnel, through payments for performance, based on hospital activity or through dual practice, a mechanism that will include the Hospital Managerial Autonomy Charter and further also in the financial one", Manastirliu said.

The decision approved today in the Council of Ministers provides for the specific criteria that must be met by a public hospital to benefit from hospital autonomy, where those that must be met by the public hospital to benefit from Managerial Autonomy and Financial Autonomy are specified./ CNA.al
