The accumulation of uric acid and the formation of fine crystals in the joints can cause high levels of inflammation, swelling and severe pain.

How to prevent joint swelling from uric acid
If you want to prevent this painful disease or keep it under control, follow AgroWeb.org's advice Avoid high protein foods such as beans, lentils, chicken, oysters and fatty fish. Avoid or limit the consumption of cheese and beer. Drink at least two liters of water a day to eliminate uric acid from the body.
Eat fruits and vegetables regularly, especially sweet potatoes, brown rice and celery. Prunes are ideal against uric acid.
Eat more cherries and blueberries because they are rich in bioflavonoids and lower uric acid levels. Cherries and pineapple also help against uric acid.
Combine bananas, pears, apples, cherries, pineapples, ginger and almonds in a blender and eat the mixture every morning.
Consume more ginger or ginger tea to fight inflammation in the joints. Drink 1-2 tablespoons of unfiltered apple cider vinegar dissolved in water, or keep your feet in a basin of water and vinegar.
