Technology plays an important role in healthcare. Even artificial intelligence can be considered a factor already in medicine.

This is after Canadian researchers have discovered that breast tumors can be detected with the help of artificial intelligence, reports " BBC ".

Researchers led by a team at Lund University said more research was needed to fully determine whether it could be used in diagnostic programs.

More than 80,000 women from Sweden, with an average age of 54, were included in the study.

Half of them underwent examinations by two radiologists, while the other half underwent examinations by Artificial Intelligence and then the interpretation was followed by one or two radiologists.

In total, 244 women were detected by the AI ??as having tumors, compared to 203 detected by the standard screening.
