The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, today held a meeting with the first psychologists employed at the health centers, who will guarantee that the services in 50 health centers in the country are integrated socio-health services.

“50 psikologë dhe punonjës socialë po i bashkohen strukturave tona të kujdesit parësor. Janë 29 qendra shëndetësore të cilat ofrojnë shërbime 24/7, që do të kenë figurën e psikologut dhe puunonjësin social. Dhe gjithashtu dhe 21 qendra të tjera të cilat do të kenë shërbimin socio-shëndetësor të integruar”, tha Manastirliu.

Ministrja Manastirliu foli për shtrirjen e këtij shërbimi edhe gjatë vitit të ardhshëm.

“Nuk do të jenë vetëm këto qendrat që do të ofrojnë shërbime socio-shëndetësore, por ne jemi në një vlerësim të dytë duke filluar nga viti 2023 do të kemi sërish një zgjerim përsa i përket shërbimit socio-shëndetësore në rang vendi. Unë jam krenare që të them se jemi ndër vendet e para në rajon që po e zbatojmë një reformë të tillë, që është reforma e shërbimeve të integruara socio-shëndetësore, në sistemin shëndetësor, duke qenë se vetë Ministria e Shëndetësisë dhe Mbrojtjes Sociale i ka të lidhur të dy sektorët dhe e bën shumë më të lehtë këtë plan ambicioz që ne kemi nisur. Një plan, i cili ka qëllim për të qenë sa më afër qytetarëve, grupeve në nevojë duke filluar nga të rinjtë, adoleshëntët dhe duke vijuar mbështetjen për moshat e treta”, tha Manastirliu.

The psycho-social service will be provided by psychologists/social workers and aims to provide a primary health care service of high quality, complete, continuous, integrated and accessible to the entire population of the area covering these health centers, and especially the marginalized and vulnerable categories. The inclusion of the psychologist/social worker as part of the health center staff brings a comprehensive multidisciplinary team approach to the provision of integrated services in the community, which will be complemented with other medical science professionals, such as speech therapists and physiotherapists. / CNA.al
