Circus spectacle in Pogradec/ Children and adults, an evening filled with

The National Circus Troupe stopped in the city of Pogradec, providing an unforgettable evening at "Odeon" Square.

With a rich artistic program, the show brought to the stage numbers of balance, elasticity, juggling and interaction with the audience, which were received with particular enthusiasm by the citizens of Pogradec, especially by the children who were numerous among the spectators.

The festive atmosphere and positive energy of the actors and performers were naturally transmitted to all those present, while some of the children in the audience even became part of the acts on stage, adding to the fun and excitement of the evening.

The performance was performed by two troupes, young children who are training in the circus and experienced professionals, proving that circus is an art that grows and develops in every generation.

The Director of the National Circus, Olta Ahmetaj, emphasized that this institution is rising with dignity after a difficult period, and that the goal is to restore the former splendor of the Albanian circus. She thanked the Pogradec audience for their hospitality and enthusiasm.

"The audience was very enthusiastic. When we first arrived, we thought everyone would be on the beach and we wouldn't have the public's attention, but it filled up very quickly. They had been waiting for us and we had a lot of fun. We brought a variety of acts, with a troupe consisting of children and adults who performed on stage so beautifully. We still have a long way to go, we have been to many cities in Albania, from north to south, and I hope we have pleased everyone, bringing back the circus culture that had begun to fade but we are looking to bring it back again."

Part of this troupe is also Livia Duka, one of the youngest members, who sees her future strongly linked to the circus.

"I feel very good because everyone here is very nice, both the friends and the masters and all the members of the circus are very kind. I have been in the circus for two years and I can't wait to continue my career here. It is very difficult, but with work, everything is achieved."

On Saturday evening, Brunilda Demollari, one of the circus youth trainers, also performed on the city stage, expressing the special emotion she experienced.

"There was a lot of euphoria, it was a very special emotion. Everything has risks, but we don't question these difficulties, we perform the numbers successfully. The circus starts from a young age, and then they become great artists. They were wonderful, the audience received them with a lot of applause."

The show was moderated by Gerald Shima, who described the experience in Pogradec as very special.

"I felt extremely good, there was emotion, a wonderful audience and a lot of applause. We feel very appreciated. The numbers were different, we had juggling numbers, verticals, balance numbers and many other performances."

The National Circus Tour continues in various cities across the country, offering art and entertainment for all ages, both for local residents and vacationers who are in these areas during the summer. Amidst applause, smiles and direct involvement of the audience, the circus is proving that it remains one of the most beautiful art forms that unites generations and brings back rare emotions./ CNA
