At a time when coastal cities face numerous challenges in managing the tourist season, Vlora, despite the problems, is becoming a good example of institutional organization and commitment. Tourism is an engine of development, but only when there is an administration that works with vision and commitment and especially responsible citizens who respect the city, themselves, and everyone's work.

The Municipality of Vlora, under its current leadership, has undertaken a series of activities and initiatives that turn the city not only into a maritime and mountain tourism destination, but into a center of culture, art and entertainment, into a city more vibrant, more open and better prepared than ever to welcome thousands of visitors from Albania and around the world.
A summer full of vibrancy and color
Since May, the calendar of activities in Vlora has been enriched with a multitude of events that touch every age group and interest. Concerts on the seaside promenade, flower festivals, folklore festivals and art exhibitions have created a special atmosphere for locals and visitors.

Local and international artists have performed in public squares, creating a vibrant connection between community and art.
Gastronomy, another tourist magnet
The municipality has supported and promoted important gastronomic events, such as traditional cooking fairs and seafood festivals, where local products receive the attention they deserve.

Through collaborations with local businesses, culinary tourism has been promoted, offering tourists an authentic Albanian experience.
The Seafood Gastronomy Fair was an innovation, a success and the start of a tradition for the future.
Sports and activities for young people
Vlora this summer is not only about relaxation, but also about energy. Beach championships, running, cycling and water sports activities are planned to be organized in a coordinated manner by the Municipality, enlivening every corner of the Lungomare and the surrounding areas. Young people are also involved in art competitions, painting and photography exhibitions, various festivals and street performances, bringing new added energy to public life.

A tradition that is not forgotten
Special attention has been paid to cultural heritage and folklore. The traditional festivals of the villages of Vlora have returned with force, creating strong bridges between generations and showing visitors the rare side of Albanian identity. Dances, folk costumes and southern music have become part of every celebration, creating a rich cultural mosaic.
Management and hospitality
Beyond the spectacle and festivities, the Municipality has also shown seriousness in the logistical and administrative aspects. Continuous efforts to clean up tourist areas, increase the presence of public services, lighting, signage and regulate public transport are part of a clear plan to make Vlora as functional and welcoming as possible for vacationers.
In this context: Vlora is not just a destination, but an experience. /CNA
