Former MP Dashnor Sula today described the murder of judge Astrit Kalaja as an alarming event.
In a television appearance, Sula blamed politics for inciting such cases, saying that such a murder in the middle of a courtroom shows that the system has failed.
Sula positively assessed the figure of the judge, whom he described as a positive and integrity-minded person.
"He was a good judge, a man of integrity and a non-corrupt judge, bad luck that befell him. Astrit was a positive man, with a sense of humor, I offer my condolences to the family. This showed that the entire society has failed. We live in a contaminated and toxic environment. The language used by politicians about the justice system is unforgivable. This is because all conflicts go to the doors of justice where they resolve issues and the parties clash, where the judges have a hard time making a decision. The murder of the judge is alarming and shows that the system has failed. The problem is politics. We must be concrete", - said Sula. /CNA
