"Socialists are not satisfied with power"/ Korreshi: The opposition

Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi today spoke extensively about the role of the opposition in relation to the situation facing the majority.

In an interview with A2CNN, Korreshi stated that the opposition should be more active and involved, and participate in every reform through opinion, even though it does not have enough votes for a majority.

Korreshi added that this has been a battle since 2014 for the opposition, which suffers from old mistakes.

"If there was logic, the Ombudsman would have been elected, but these people are not satisfied. They will draw the map as they want. Some municipalities like Lushnja, 75% of the budget goes to salaries, while the city is degrading due to the lack of central institutions. For a driving license, citizens have to go to Fier.

The opposition must participate in every reform and express its opinion. Today, when you don't have votes, you can't do anything, but you have to express your opinion.

The opposition is suffering today precisely from that territorial division of 2014, the opposition was offered many more municipalities, even 84 and a half municipalities. However, the opposition, with its stupidity, I say with full conviction, did not participate. We could have had many more municipalities today", said Korreshi. /CNA
