"Rebirth" of the "Asllan Rusi" Sports Palace/ Rama: The

Prime Minister Edi Rama was present this morning at the International Competition for the Renaissance of the "Asllan Rusi" Sports Palace in the capital.

In his long speech presenting the project ideas for this environment dedicated to sports, Rama emphasized the importance of restoring the space of this palace to the time when it was an irreplaceable building.

Rama also shared a goal related to this project, to soon welcome the finals of the most important European sports matches.

"I want to express my pleasure that in the hall there are some of the names from the time when the fans and the competition of the palace race were irreplaceable. We want to return the space to Asllan Rus." 

I am hopeful that the new sports movement that is growing year after year, under the auspices of the Olympic community, will supply this palace of sports with new arrivals and new stars.

Albania is at a time when it is aiming very high in participating in international competitions. 

"The goal is to play the European Champions Cup finals in Albania, it is not unattainable. We have had contacts, they have been interested in the capacities. I hope that this palace will give us the opportunity to have the finals of the highest European matches here," said Rama. /CNA
