Marta Kos's reaction/ Berisha does not back down: I have not insulted any

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted after the post of the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, about the attacks on the EU ambassador, Silvio Gonzato.

Berisha said that during his statements he did not insult any ambassador, but asked Gonzato to show which EU directive uses the terminology of multiple gender affiliation. He insisted that no European Union directive has this terminology.

"I have not insulted any ambassador, but I have expressed my opinions here as I will express them openly in any case. I have asked Ambassador Gonzato to tell us which EU directive uses the terminology of multiple gender affiliation. Prominent experts that I know have confirmed to me that none of the EU directives have this terminology, but they are all in binary, talking about man and woman. Any other kind of interpretation is the problem of the one who makes it. I again declare that I am against any form of discrimination or equality. But I am against any attempt to reform the gender binary, the Constitution, the laws and the Country's Codes ," Berisha said. /CNA
