Positions on the Kosovo resolution/ Shehu accuses the majority: Contrary to

Democratic MP Tritan Shehu accused the majority of acting contrary to national interests.

Shehu made the statement as a resolution condemning the Serbian genocide in Kosovo was also scheduled for today's plenary session.

In his speech, Shehu said that this is an important moment and that history will show whether the majority's decisions are right or shameful.  

 "We are at an important moment. History will tell whether it is good or shameful for the decisions that have been taken by this majority. I will say something. Such important decisions cannot be passed with a decision of the Presidency of the Assembly, when unfortunately the majority dominates by holding these positions absolutely contrary to national interests. Therefore, I request an expansion of the discussions. I request an urgent meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Assembly, to express and give its opinions regarding the resolution to condemn the Serbian genocide in Kosovo", - said Shehu. /CNA
