Opposition protest/Journalist: Not enough to overthrow the government

Journalist Lavdrim Lita, invited to the "Now" show with Erla Mëhilli, spoke about today's opposition protest.

Lita said that the opposition protest was a normal protest and is not enough to overthrow the government. Further, the journalist said that to overthrow the government, popular protests without flags and with clear goals are needed.

Lita said that the opposition protests are a first scenario, three people speak and then they make a fuss.

Further, the journalist stated that a protest front should be created.

 

"It was a normal protest. The DP's protest is not enough. The DP knows how to hold protests, it has done so in its past, with Molotov cocktails and without Molotov cocktails, but it is not enough to overthrow the government. To do this, we need a popular protest, without flags, with clear goals like the one in Serbia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria.

The Democratic Party holds protests with dates, schedules and calendars, with those three people who speak, make rounds. It's a movie we've seen, it's good that there's a protest. It's the biggest protest in the last month, but it has to be unstoppable. If it stops because it's Christmas, New Year's, or some other reason, it doesn't work.

A protest front must be created, the DP's protest alone is not enough. Berisha announces the action as if it were the first time he has done so. He has been protesting for 35 years. I expected the protest to surpass the opposition's rhetoric. We heard those speeches in Parliament, they were not motivating. They are a political party ," said Lita.
