Democratic Party MP Tritan Shehu raised the claim today that the Parliament, through some "ultra-fast" procedures and interferences, is being pushed towards ill-considered decisions that are harming the country.

In his speech in the Assembly, Shehu stated that in Albania there is an inquisition against law and democracy.

Sheu also brought up the case of Italy as an example, which has been consulted on a reform for about 15 years.

"It may seem like I'm going out of context with what I'm going to say, but I want to say this. Often this parliament, with its "ultra-fast" procedural methods and interferences, gets into a dead end. Today, the Italian Senate approved the reform of Italy's justice system, which began 15 years ago and was initiated by Berlusconi as a result of the situation we are in today.
