The passing of the former MP/ Berisha, a message of condolences

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted through a post on social networks to the passing of former MP Tomor Dosti.

In his reaction, Berisha writes that he expresses the greatest respect for Dosti's contribution and gratitude for the cooperation between them.

The Chief Democrat expressed his condolences to the family of former MP Dosti.

Tribute to Tomor Dosti.

Dear friends, Tomor Dosti closed his eyes forever. Descendant of one of the most prominent families in Albania, son of Hasan Dosti, the prominent intellectual and patriot, Chairman of the Mukje National Salvation Committee and main leader of the National Front. Tomor Dosti from his childhood experienced the fierce ordeal of class struggle, persecution, imprisonment and internment in the prisons and camps of the communist dictatorship. Tomori supported the overthrow of the communist dictatorship and the establishment of pluralism from the beginning. After the founding of the Democratic Party, he was elected its deputy representative in the Parliament of Albania. In the years 1992-1996, Tomor Dosti was elected to the leadership positions of Vice-Chairman and Secretary General of the Democratic Party.

Expressing my greatest respect for his valuable contribution and deep gratitude for the cooperation we have had, I express my deepest condolences to his honorable family, friends and relatives and pray together with them that the good soul of Tomor Dosti finds the peace he deserves. Amen!
