MP Belind Këlliçi revealed today two of the names from the ranks of the Democratic Party, who have held a meeting with the leader of the Democrat Party, Sali Berisha, as possible candidates for the race for the Municipality of Tirana.

In a television show, Këlliçi said that it is about Jorida Tabaku and Ilir Alimehmet.

"In my opinion, at the moment, the first candidate that should be proposed by the DP should be Ms. Tabaku, since she has also received the most votes in these elections. Ms. Tabaku clearly has her own plan in the Albanian Parliament in a mandate that she has just started and I do not blame her at all and this is her political project. I am convinced that if Jorida had been in the race with Manastirliu, we would have had a surprise in Tirana without a doubt. I think the same about Mr. Alimehmeti, but he says look, I have my own political project, I have a four-year program", said Këlliçi./ CNA
