The Chairman of the 'Bashkë' Movement, Arlind Qori, has declared that this movement will compete as a party with its own candidate in the race for the Municipality of Tirana.

In a television appearance, Qori stated that there are reasons not to join the opposition in a common name for the management of the capital.

Qori said that there is no opposition in Albania, while describing the movement he leads as the only true opposition against the government.

"I do not think that there is an opposition in Albania, in the sense of a community of parties that honestly oppose a way of governance. The genuine, true opposition, not only against the government, but also against the entire political-oligarchic establishment in Albania, is the Together Movement and for all these reasons, the Together Movement will compete as a party with its own candidate in the elections for the Municipality of Tirana, whenever they are held," said Qori./ CNA
