Democratic MP, Besart Xhaferri shared details of the Democratic Party's plan as the largest opposition party for selecting a candidate for the Tirana Municipality race.

Invited to A2CNN, Xhaferri said that for these elections, the DP intends to offer 6 or 7 names, from which the most suitable will be chosen, to then continue with a model and supra-party campaign to win the elections for the leadership of the capital.

"It will be a very quick negotiation. We will offer 6 or 7 names that we have and then we will see who fits so that everyone is represented. These are names from the DP, but also from the May 11 list, from which there were names not only political exponents, but also professionals in various fields, there were businessmen, names from the diaspora. However, it could also be an exponent of the DP, but accepted by everyone. He must definitely run a model, supra-party campaign, with a shadow administration. The names will come out, who are the administrators, who will replace the directors of 5D, who are the vice presidents. That way I believe we will have the moral card and Tirana will definitely support by giving a slap to this autocracy in the installation which everyone understands after May 11 what is happening", - said Xhaferri./CNA
